Always use updated software
You may be using a number of apps and other softwares on your cell phones and if any of the are outdated versions, you should update all of them at once. Cut back on apps
Apps are great tools and they can really take the user experience on your cell phone to a totally different level altogether. Take precautions while you charge your phone
Most of us leave our phones in its covers or cases when we plugin to the sockets to re-charge our batteries. Doing this traps the heat within the case and the battery does gets heated up in the process, leading to a much shorter life than if you had not exposed it to such unnecessary heat trauma.
